IVD Celebrates Blessing CEO’s Release, Says ‘Lion Didn’t Eat Us’
Businessman IVD has celebrated the release of his partner, controversial social media personality Blessing CEO, from detention, declaring that they had survived a difficult ordeal.

IVD shared a video of Blessing on his TikTok page, accompanying it with a triumphant remark: “We enter lion’s den but lion no chop us.”

Actress Doris Ogala also confirmed Blessing’s release through a video call with the influencer, expressing gratitude to God.

“Blessing CEO is finally out; thank you, Jesus,” she wrote.

Blessing’s release comes amid her ongoing trial over allegations of obtaining money by false pretence and stealing.

On October 12, 2026, a prosecution witness, Dr Onuoha Okeigwe, told Justice R. A. Oshodi of the Special Offences Court in Ikeja, Lagos, that he paid ₦69.15 million for a five-year lease on a property allegedly presented to him as belonging to Blessing.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arraigned the influencer on June 9, 2026, on two counts bordering on the alleged offences. She pleaded not guilty.

Although she was granted ₦20 million bail in July, she was reportedly unable to meet the conditions and was remanded at the Kirikiri correctional facility.

IVD and Blessing first sparked dating rumours in 2023 after she shared a photograph of a mystery man with a tattoo of her on his arm. She later spoke about finding love again after believing her feelings had died.
