JAMB Introduces Home-Based O’Level Result Upload
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has introduced a new system allowing candidates to upload and verify their O’Level results from home, eliminating the need to visit a Computer-Based Test (CBT) centre solely for the process.
The new arrangement, which initially covers WAEC results, enables JAMB to verify candidates’ results directly with the examination bodies that issued them.
How to Verify Your O’Level Result
Visit buyresultsverificationcode.ng.
Enter your NIN and click “Verify NIN.”
Select the number of sittings and the relevant examination body or bodies.
Enter your email address and GSM number, then click “Pay Now.”
Pay using a debit card or bank transfer.
Enter your examination details:
Examination number
Examination series
Examination year
Verify the result and obtain your Verification Code.
How to Upload the Verified Result
After obtaining the verification code:
Send VERIFY followed by the Verification Code to 55019 or 66019.
JAMB will upload the result and send a notification.
Candidates with two sittings should log into their JAMB e-Facility profile.
Select “2026 UTME O’Level Upload.”
Enter the Verification Code to display the verified results.
Select the required subjects, ensuring that:
At least five subjects are selected.
No more than nine subjects are selected.
No subject is selected more than once.
Click “Apply The O’Level Results.”
A notification will confirm successful submission.
JAMB said the new system is intended to reduce queues, manual errors, fraudulent result submissions and delays associated with traditional uploads at CBT centres.
The Board also said the initiative would make its services more accessible and convenient for candidates, particularly during periods of high patronage and network challenges.
