AC Milan Immortalise Kaka With Hall Of Fame Induction
AC Milan have paid tribute to Brazilian football legend Kaka by inducting him into the club’s Hall of Fame, recognising his outstanding contributions to one of the most successful eras in their history.

The Italian giants marked the occasion with a video celebrating some of Kaka’s memorable goals, particularly his strikes against city rivals Inter Milan. The former midfielder also recreated one of his trademark goal celebrations, bringing back memories of his glorious years at the San Siro.

Kaka arrived at Milan from Brazilian side São Paulo on August 15, 2003, aged 21, for $8.5 million. Then club owner Silvio Berlusconi famously described the transfer fee as “peanuts”.

The Brazilian quickly established himself as a key figure, delivering impressive performances that forced established stars such as Rui Costa, Clarence Seedorf and Rivaldo onto the bench.

Across two spells with the Rossoneri, Kaka made 307 appearances, scoring 104 goals and providing 81 assists.

Although Milan suffered heartbreak against Liverpool in the 2005 UEFA Champions League final, Kaka played a pivotal role in their triumph over the English side in the 2007 final, helping the Italian club reclaim European glory.

His remarkable performances that year earned him both the prestigious Ballon d’Or and FIFA World Player of the Year awards.

Kaka remains the last AC Milan player to win the Ballon d’Or, further cementing his place among the club’s all-time greats.

The Hall of Fame induction represents another fitting recognition of a player whose elegance, creativity and match-winning brilliance made him one of football’s most celebrated midfielders.
