Arsenal Agree Deal To Sell Trossard To Besiktas
Premier League champions Arsenal have reached an agreement with Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas for the permanent transfer of Belgian forward Leandro Trossard.

The North London club confirmed the development in a statement, announcing that a transfer fee had been agreed and granting the player permission to travel to Istanbul to complete the move.

According to Arsenal, the 31-year-old will undergo a medical and finalise the remaining formalities before the transfer is officially completed.

The club added that a further announcement would be made once the process is concluded.
The move is set to bring an end to Trossard's three-and-a-half-year spell at the Emirates Stadium, pending the successful completion of the deal.

Trossard joined Arsenal from Brighton & Hove Albion in January 2023 in a deal worth about £27 million, including add-ons. He quickly established himself as an important member of Mikel Arteta's squad.

During his time with the Gunners, the Belgian winger helped the club win the Premier League title, ending Arsenal's 22-year wait for the English top-flight crown.

He also lifted the FA Community Shield in 2023 and played a significant role in Arsenal's run to the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League final.

On the international stage, Trossard impressed for Belgium at the ongoing 2026 FIFA World Cup, scoring twice against New Zealand in the group stage as the Red Devils reached the quarter-finals before losing 2-1 to eventual finalists Spain.

Besiktas also confirmed the player's arrival in Turkey by publishing photographs of him in Istanbul with the caption: "Leandro Trossard arrives in Istanbul."
