Ben Murray-Bruce Commends Tinubu, Ribadu, Security Forces Over Rescue of Oyo Pupils and Teachers
Former Senator Ben Murray-Bruce has praised the successful rescue of abducted pupils and teachers in Oyo State, describing the operation as a remarkable demonstration of what can be achieved when leadership, intelligence, and professionalism work together.
In a statement, Murray-Bruce commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his continued commitment to improving the security situation in Nigeria, while specifically applauding the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, for his coordination of the nation’s security architecture.
He also praised the Department of State Services (DSS) and other security personnel involved in the rescue mission, noting that their efforts ensured the safe return of the victims to their families.
“Every child returned safely to their family is a victory for our nation. This is the kind of success that deserves recognition and encouragement,” he said.
The rescue of the pupils and teachers, who had spent more than 50 days in captivity after their abduction in Orire Local Government Area of Oyo State, has been widely celebrated as a major breakthrough in Nigeria’s fight against insecurity.
