The Detective Assistant category is open to candidates with at least five credit passes in WAEC, NECO, GCE or NABTEB, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings. Applicants must be between 18 and 25 years old.
The Professionals/Skilled Workers category covers several disciplines, including medicine, pharmacy, law, nursing, engineering, medical laboratory science, information and communications technology, human resources management, financial analysis, media and publicity, research, policy analysis and administrative support.
Applicants in this category must be between 18 and 40 years old and possess relevant academic or professional qualifications. An NYSC discharge or exemption certificate is also required, while membership of a relevant professional association is an added advantage.
The commission listed Nigerian citizenship, basic computer skills, medical fitness, good character and a clean criminal record among the general eligibility requirements.
Candidates applying for cadet positions must be single. Male applicants must be at least 1.67 metres tall, while female applicants must have a minimum height of 1.64 metres.
A valid national driver’s licence is an added advantage for applicants seeking professional and skilled positions.
Interested candidates are required to submit their applications online through the designated recruitment portal. Shortlisted applicants will be expected to present printed copies of their application forms during screening.
The recruitment notice states that applications will close one week after the exercise begins. It also emphasises that the process is free, warning applicants against paying individuals or organisations promising to secure employment.
Prospective applicants are advised to verify the recruitment details, official application portal and deadline through the EFCC’s official communication channels before applying.
