Former Edo CP Monday Agbonika To Head Zone 5, Betty Otimenyin Posted To Zone 8
Former Edo State Commissioner of Police, Monday Agbonika, is now to head the Police Zone 5 Headquarters in Benin City.
This was part of the latest redeployment of senior officers approved by the Inspector-General of Police, Rilwan Disu aimed at strengthening leadership across strategic commands and formations of the Nigeria Police Force.
Agbonika, who served as Commissioner of Police in Edo State before his promotion to Assistant Inspector-General of Police, will now oversee policing activities in Zone 5, comprising Edo and Delta states, from the zonal headquarters in Benin City.
Also affected by the redeployment is another former Edo State Commissioner of Police, Betty Enekpen Otimenyin, who has been posted as the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 8 Headquarters, Lokoja. Zone 8 comprises Kogi, Kwara and Ekiti states.
Other postings announced by the Inspector-General include:

- AIG Isah Danladi Nda – FCID Annex, Kaduna.
- AIG Akaniyene Ifebem Ezima – Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre, Abuja.
- AIG Bello Rashid Afegbua – Zone 6 Headquarters, Calabar.
