Inter Miami Complete Casemiro Signing After Manchester United Exit
Major League Soccer side Inter Miami have completed the signing of Brazilian midfielder Casemiro on a free transfer following his departure from Manchester United.

The club announced that the 34-year-old has signed a two-year contract that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2027 MLS season, with an option to extend his stay until June 2029. The deal is subject to the approval of his P-1 work visa.

Casemiro arrives in South Florida with an outstanding record, having established himself as one of the most successful midfielders of his generation. His arrival marks another major addition to Inter Miami's ambitious squad.

Speaking after completing the move, the Brazilian said the club's long-term vision convinced him to continue his career in Miami.

"For any player, the biggest motivation is to win and continue improving," Casemiro said. "The vision the club shared with me and the commitment shown to bring me here made the decision an easy one. I'm grateful for the confidence they have placed in me and can't wait to begin this new chapter."

Inter Miami Managing Owner Jorge Mas hailed the signing, describing Casemiro as a player whose qualities perfectly align with the club's ambitions.
"Casemiro represents ambition, leadership and a winning mentality," Mas said.

"His decision to join us reflects the progress this club is making and our determination to compete for the biggest honours."

Club co-owner David Beckham also welcomed the Brazilian, praising his remarkable achievements throughout his career.

"Casemiro is a player I've admired for many years," Beckham said. "He's a proven winner with incredible experience, and we're delighted to welcome him and his family to Inter Miami."

The midfielder leaves Manchester United after three seasons, during which he helped the club win the FA Cup and the EFL Cup.

Before his move to England, Casemiro enjoyed a trophy-laden spell at Real Madrid, winning five UEFA Champions League titles, three La Liga crowns, three FIFA Club World Cups, three UEFA Super Cups, one Copa del Rey and three Spanish Super Cups.

At international level, Casemiro earned 91 caps for Brazil, winning the 2019 Copa América and representing his country at the 2018, 2022 and 2026 FIFA World Cups.

His arrival further strengthens Inter Miami's star-studded squad as the MLS club continues its pursuit of domestic and continental success.
