Jimmy Odukoya Introduces New Wife, Pastor Mo, To Fountain Of Life Congregation
Senior Pastor of the Fountain of Life Church, Lagos, Pastor Jimmy Odukoya, has officially introduced his new wife, Pastor Mo Odukoya, to members of the congregation, drawing cheers and applause during Sunday service.
The introduction took place on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at the church's headquarters in Ilupeju, Lagos, days after the pastor sparked speculation with an Instagram post featuring two hands wearing wedding rings and the caption, “To New Beginnings.”
Odukoya, who married his former wife, Oluwakemi Banjoko, in London in 2013, has two children from the previous marriage.
Addressing the congregation, the senior pastor disclosed that he had spent some time alone since assuming leadership of the church before finding a new partner.
Referring to the biblical account of Adam and Eve, he described his new wife as the companion he had been searching for.
“Some of you saw the post. Somebody, some people say, is it artwork? Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, no, no, it's my wife,” he announced to an excited congregation.
He subsequently introduced her as Pastor Mo Odukoya, describing her as the church's new First Lady.
The congregation erupted in cheers as Mo walked onto the stage, while Jimmy escorted her and proudly presented her to the worshippers.
In her brief address, Pastor Mo expressed joy at joining the Fountain of Life Church and standing alongside her husband.
“Good morning, family. It's my pleasure and honour to be here and stand alongside my husband, the senior pastor of the Fountain of Life Church,” she said.
The occasion also featured prayers and blessings for the couple by Pastor Tunde Bakare, General Overseer of The Citadel Global Community Church, who was described by Jimmy as a longstanding family figure and a voice of wisdom.
Bakare disclosed that the couple got married in the United States, although he said he did not know the exact date of their wedding.
Praying for the newlyweds, he asked God to bless their union with peace, stability and love, while also seeking divine protection and growth for the Fountain of Life Church.
He expressed confidence that the couple's marriage would become an example to others, praying that their home would remain firmly rooted in faith and become a centre of Christian service.
