Man Arrested For Allegedly Throwing Girlfriend’s Sister From Storey Building In Imo

A young man has been arrested in Owerri, Imo State, for allegedly throwing his girlfriend’s younger sister from a storey building after she reportedly rejected his attempt to sexually assault her.

The incident reportedly occurred in the Mbonu Ejike area of Owerri after the victim was left alone with the suspect while her elder sister, who is dating him, travelled.

According to reports, the suspect allegedly made sexual advances towards the young woman but became violent after she rejected him, subsequently pushing her from the storey building.

The suspect was reportedly apprehended shortly after the incident and handed over to operatives of the Imo State Police Command.

However, the police had yet to officially confirm the incident as of the time of filing this report.

The victim’s condition and other details surrounding the incident remained unclear at the time of publication.
