Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli has presented a brand-new Toyota Camry to Mrs. Rachael Folake Alamu, Principal of Community High School, Esiele in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.
The gesture, according to the lawmaker, is in recognition of her courage and resilience following her abduction alongside students in May.
Mrs. Alamu was one of the teachers taken during an attack on Community High School, Esiele and Yawota Baptist Nursery and Primary School.
While in captivity, she was f0rc£d by the abductors to appear in multiple videos that were circulated as proof of life and for ransom negotiations.
At the presentation of the vehicle, Senator Alli, who represents Oyo South, praised the principal for maintaining composure and prioritizing the safety and well-being of the pupils despite the trauma.
He described the donation as a token of appreciation for her bravery and a show of support for victims of insecurity.
