Arsenal are also said to be monitoring Aston Villa defender Ezri Konsa. The Gunners are interested in the 28-year-old England international, while Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez has reportedly attracted interest from Italian giants Juventus.
Nottingham Forest are closing in on a deal for Sporting CP centre-back Ousmane Diomande. The Ivory Coast international is reportedly in advanced talks over a move to the City Ground.
Juventus are also believed to be tracking West Ham United defender Jean-Clair Todibo as they continue to strengthen their defensive options.
Manchester United remain in the market for a central midfielder but have reportedly cooled their interest in Brighton's Carlos Baleba and Bournemouth's Alex Scott due to the high transfer fees being demanded.
Despite Scott rejecting a new contract at Bournemouth, the Cherries are determined to keep the England Under-21 international, who is also attracting interest from Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Ipswich Town have reportedly agreed a deal in principle with Celtic to sign Japanese forward Daizen Maeda. The proposed transfer is worth an initial £8 million, with a further £2 million in potential add-ons.
Elsewhere, Manchester United youngster James Overy is attracting attention from Rangers as well as several clubs in Australia. The 18-year-old full-back is said to be on the radar of multiple suitors ahead of the new season.
