Christ Embassy Ventures Into Automotive Industry, Unveils Tsion Electric Vehicles
Nigerian church organisation Christ Embassy has expanded its economic and innovation activities into the automotive sector with the unveiling of a range of electric vehicles under the Tsion brand.
The vehicles were unveiled by the church’s founder and president, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, during The New Economy Unveiling 2026 with Pastor Chris, an event focused on innovation, economic development and enterprise.
Among the vehicles showcased were the Tsion Passion, Tsion Falcon, Vision series, Vision Coupe and OG series.
The unveiling, which attracted attention on social media after videos from the event surfaced on Tuesday, marks a notable expansion of Christ Embassy’s activities beyond its traditional religious operations.
Pastor Bolaji Idowu of Harvesters International Christian Centre described the development as evidence of the church’s growing influence in the marketplace.
Idowu commended Oyakhilome for the initiative, saying the project demonstrated the capacity of the church to contribute solutions and participate meaningfully in economic development.
“My mind has been stretched. This is what it means to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world,” Idowu said.
He added that the church was no longer merely advocating solutions but was increasingly involved in creating them.
“We are not just preaching the gospel; we are demonstrating the ability of the Spirit, even in the marketplace,” he said.
During the unveiling, Oyakhilome noted that some aspects of the vehicles were still undergoing refinement, including the steering wheel design.
He also explained that the “OG” designation in the vehicle range means “Of God.”
